Gamefam Gets $25M For Roblox Games

Los Angeles-based Gamefan, which makes games on the popular videogame platform Roblox, has raised $25M in a Series A venture capital funding round, the company said this morning. The funding was led by Konvoy Ventures, and also includes Play Ventures, Makers Fund, Bessemer Venture Partners and Galaxy Interactive. According to the company, it will use the new funding to fuel growth. Gamefan says it has 6.5 million unique daily users in the US and 15 million globally. The company says it has more than 30 games on Roblox, including Twilight Daycare, All Star Tower Defense and Tower of Misery. More information »
