Geodelic Updates Mobile App
Santa Monica-based Geodelic, a developer of location-based mobile networking software, told its users Wednesday that it has released version 2.0 of its Sherpa mobile software. Geodelic, which is venture backed by Clearstone Venture Partners and Shasta Ventures, said that the new software improves usability, and adds links to OpenTable reservations and Twitter data feeds, among other features. Geodelic's software allows mobile phone users to get more information about locations, including stores and restaurants, pulling in third party information like restaurant reviews. Along with the new release, the firm also said that it is partnering with Best Buy, Universal Studios, and Greenopia, and is planning new iPhone and Android releases in Q1.
