Gossamer Bio Names CFO

San Diego-based Gossamer Bio said Wednesday that it has named Bryan Giraudo as the company's new Chief Financial Officer, to head up the company's finance and administrative functions. Giraudo was most recently an investment banker at LEERINK Partners, where he served as Senior Managing Director heading up its Western North America and Asia life sciences investment banking practice. Giraudo had been at LEERINK Partners since 2009, and also served at Merrill Lynch's Global Healthcare Investment Banking Group. The appointment comes after a big, $100M investment round received by Gossamer Bio in January.
