indie Semiconductor Buys Silicon Radar

Aliso Viejo-based chip developer indie Semiconductor said late Wednesday that it has acquired Silicon Radar GmbH, a German company that develops system-on-chips (SoCs) for automotive radar. Financial terms of the deal were not announced. indie Semiconductor said the buy will help to complement two earlier acquisition by the company, the radar divisions of Analog Devices and ON Semi. Silicon Radar GmbH is developing 120 GHz radar.
