IOGEAR Rolls Out New Gaming Keyboards

Irvine-based technology products and accessories maker IOGEAR rolled out a new line of mechanial gaming keyboards today, aimed at both the PC gaming and everyday use. According to IOGEAR, its new Kaliber Gaming HVER PRO RGB Mechanical Gaming Keyboards feature mechanical switches, a "rugged" aircraft aluminum chassis, key backlighting, and programmability. The company said the new keyboards use mechanical tactile switches, which it says do not need to be fully depressed for proper registration enabling users to game faster and type more accurately with less hand fatigue--unliked traditional keyboards using dome or membrane switches. The company also said the characters on the keys are molded as part of the keys, so they will not wear off. The new keyboards have a MSRP of $79.95.
