Kia Launches AI-driven Virtual Assistant

Irvine-based Kia Motors America/a>, which runs the US operators of Kia Motors, said today that it has launch a new, artificial-intelligence-driven "virtual assistant" to help people shop for its vehicles. The "bot" is built on an earlier, Facebook chatbot the car company launched in June called "Noribot". According to Kia, its new bot, named "Kian", operates through its Facebook Messenger page, and will soon also be available on its website. The new bot was created by "bot" software developer CarLabs and digital agency Ansible.
