KINO Studios Collects $2M

Los Angeles-based KINO, a film technology startup, says it has raised $2M in a pre-seed funding round. The funding came from Sequoia Capital's Scout program, Blockchain Founders Fund, Slow Ventures, Metaweb Ventures, Genius Ventures, The Near Protocol, and angels. According to KINO, it is developing "state-of-the-art tools to engage, create, and monetize their content even before it hits the screens". The company's co-founders are Daril Fannin (CEO) and Austin Worrell (COO).
