LENZ Therapeutics Finds $83.5M In Series B

San Diego-based biopharmaceuticals company LENZ Therapeutics, which is developing treatments for presbyopia, says it has raised $83.5M in a Series B financing round. The company said the funding was led by Sectoral Asset Management, and also included Alpha Wave Ventures, Point 72, along with RA Capital Management, Versant Ventures, RTW Investments and others. The company's products are drops which are used once a day, and correct a patient's vision loss for the day, without losing distance vision.
