Liquid Death Finds $23M More

Los Angeles-based canned water brand Liquid Death, the Science, Inc.-based startup offering up bottled water in aluminum cans, has raised $23M in a Series B funding round, the company disclosed over the weekend. The funding included Convivialite Ventures, Fat Mike, Pat McAfee, Velvet Sea Ventures, and a number of other investors. The company said the funding goes towards growth. Liquid Death sells its canned water through retailers, with a focus on marketing both its image (think "death metal") and the use of aluminum cans, instead of plastic.
