Love Goodly Turns To Crowdfunding For Nontoxic Beauty Box

Los Angeles-based Love Goodly, which offers up healthier, nontoxic, and cruelty-free beauty products via a subscription box, says it has started raising funding on equity crowdfunding site Seedinvest. The startup, founded by Justine Lassoff and Katie Bogue Miller, provides a bi-monthly subscription box which the company says makes it easier to discover nontoxic and cruelty-free products for beauty, skincare, wellness, and an eco-friendly lifestyle. The company has already received backing from Third Wave Digital, the early stage investment fund run by Allen DeBevoise. The service has featured such celebrity curators as Alicia Silverstone, and the company said Lassof and Miller have a combined 15 years of experience in the eco-friendly beauty industry.
