MaxLinear Selected By German Networking Equipment Developer

Carlsbad-based MaxLinear, which develops radio frequency, analog, and mixed-signal integrated circuits, reported a win this morning with German home networking equipment maker devolo. According to MaxLinear, devolo has selected its G.hn Wave 2 transceiver ICs, for a new line of powerline networking products. Financial impact of the win, and anticipated shipment volumes were not announced. devolo's products are aimed at service providers and carriers in Europe.
