Miso Robotics Deploying Robots To Dubai

Pasadena-based Miso Robotics, which develops kitchen assistant robots for the restaurant market, is deploying its robots to Dubai, as well as internationally, in a new deal with an international franchise operator. According to the company, Americana Restaurants, which operates such brands as KFC, Pizza Hut, Hardee's, Krispy Kreme, and TGI Friday's in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA), will pilot a test of its Flippy 2 robot at the Wimpy location in The Dubai Mall. The robot will be used to operate the fry station at the location, and is a preview for potential expansion across other locations, according to Miso Robotics.
