Miso Robotics Extends Rollout With White Castle

Pasadena-based Miso Robotics, which is developing robots to assist in commercial kitchens, says it is expanding a partnership it has with White Castle. According to the two companies, White Castle will install Miso's "Flippy" robot in 100 new locations, after a successful pilot program. Financial impact of the deal were not announced. The two said that White Castle will install Miso's Flippy 2 robot in 100 White Castle locations, taking over the work from humans at White Castle's fry stations. Unlike most local startups, Miso Robotics is primarily, but not entirely, funded on crowdfunding.
