Miso Robotics Launches Next Generation Robot

Pasadena-based robot developer Miso Robotics, which develops robots designed for use in assisting in preparing food in quick server restaurants, says it has introduced its next generation product, Flippy 2. According to the company, the updated version of its robot was developed based on feedback from its partner, White Castle. According to Miso Robotics, Flippy 2 takes over the work for an entire fry station and performs more than twice as many food preparation tasks compared to the previous version including basket filling, emptying and returning. Miso Robotics is led by CEO Mike Bell, and has been very active in crowdfunding its efforts.
