Miso Robotics Links With Beverage Dispenser Provider

Pasadena-based robotics developer Miso Robotics announced on Tuesday tht it has linked with global beverage dispenser manufacturer Lancer Worldwide, to build an automated beverage dispenser for commercial kitchens. Financial details of the partnership were not announced. According to Miso Robotics, the new product will help address record labor shortages at quick-serve restaurants (QSRs). Miso Robotics said that it is finding restaurant operators are eyeing automation and robotics to accelerate recovery and meet demand, and the inefficiency of workers trying to navigate compact, face-paced kitchens. Miso Robotics says it is in the midst of a Series D funding round, having raised $25M in crowdfunding in its Series C round; the company said its latest round is valued at $350M.
