MOGL Ramps Up War On Hunger With New Release
San Diego-based restaurant loyalty app provider MOGL launched a brand new version of its mobile app, and launched a huge push to enlist its users to help fight off hunger in the US. The loyalty startup said Thursday that it will now allow its users to donate the cash back from the service to local food banks, directly, to provide even more funding to fight hunger in the cities it serves. MOGL had already been donating to local food banks via its app, but the new incarnation also pushes users to give back part of the ten percent, loyalty cash back they earn directly to food banks. Mogl--founded by Jon Carder--had already been supporting food banks in a large way prior to the new version of the mobile app.
