According to Ring, the changes are among a number of changes to its Neighbors app, which it says is intended to "help connect communities". The change comes after years of controversy over the company's cushy relationship with law enforcement, and even allegations that Ring was giving videos to police without user consent or a warrant. RealD Claims Patent Win In ChinaLos Angeles-based 3D cinema technology developer RealD says it has won three, patent invalidation challenges that had been filed against the company in China. According to the company, the China National Intellectual Property Office (CNIPA) has ruled in favor of RealD, rejecting three Shenzhen LeVision Global Technology Co., Ltd.'s requests to invalidate RealD's Chinese patents.
