NextWave Ventures Names Director

Carlsbad-based NextWave Ventures, a venture capital investment firm which focuses on commercialization of early-stage technologies, said it has named Dr. Peter Curley as its Director. Curley was previously Director and advisor for Imprimatur Capital, a UK-based venture capital firm, and also served at The Climate Group, Philips Lighting, and the Ecole Polytechnique LOA (Paris) as a researcher in the field of optics and photonics. NextWave said Curley will focus on identifying opportunities for NextWave Ventures with universities and research institutions throughout California and the United States.
