QuestSoft Acquires IMARC

Laguna Hills-based software developer QuestSoft announced on Thursday that it has purchased Laguna Hills-based IMARC, a provider of data verification and audit services to the financial services industry. Financial details of the acquisition were not announced. QuestSoft, which develops automated mortgage compliance software, said the deal would expand its data verification and audit services for the mortgage industry. QuestSoft said that all of IMARC's employees are moving to its corporate headquarters in Laguna Hills, with IMARC's founder, Bob Simpson, becoming Senior Vice President and Director of its Verifications Division.
