Reliam Buys G2 Tech Group

Los Angeles-based Reliam, the provider of consulting and managed services for the public cloud which is backed by private equity investor Great Hill Partners, is announcing this morning that it has acquired G2 Tech Group, a Boston-based provider of Amazon Web Services (AWS) consulting. Financial details of the acquisition were not announced, however, Reliam said the deal was funded by Great Hill Partners, as part of a $75M agreement between Great Hill Partners and Reliam have for such acquisitions that was made in November of 2017. Reliam how has merged three companies--Reliam, Stratalux, and G2 Tech Group--all three in the AWS consulting sector. Reliam said the three companies now form a single business, which has 80 AWS certifications among its cloud operations professionals and solutions architects. G2 Tech Group had focused on DevOps, healthcare, and life sciences clients.
