Semtech Acquires IC Interconnect

Camarillo-based analog and mixed signal semiconductor maker Semtech Corporation announced this week that it has acquired substantially all of the assets of IC Interconnect, a developer of contract wafer bumping and other related services for the semiconductor industry. Semtech said it would pay approximately $7M in cash plus assumed certain obligations for IC Interconnect. IC Interconnect is based in Colorado Springs, Colorado, where Semtech said it expects to add 42 employees. IC Interconnect (ICI) was founded in 1998.
