Semtech Wins Smart City Deal in Thailand

Camarillo-based Semtech, which develops analog and mixed-signal integrated circuits, reported that its LoRA technology and devics are being used in a "smart city" deployment in Thailand. According to Semtech, Kiwi Technology, a developer of Internet of Things (IoT) projects, is using LoRa devices to regulate electricity use in Thai cities. Shipment volumes and financial impact of the win was not announced.
