SetPoint Medical Names New President, CEO

Valencia-based medical device developer SetPoint Medical said this morning that it has named Murthy Simhambhatla as President and Chief Executive Officer. Simhambhatla was previously President and CEO of Evolus, and also served as Senior Vice President at Abbott Laboratories and President of Abbott Medical Optics; he also had been at Guidant. SetPoint Medical said its prior President and CEO, Anthony Arnold, has "decided to pursue other opportunities."
