SheKnows Buys BabyHold.com

Los Angeles-based online women's media firm SheKnows.com said Wednesday morning that it has acquired BabyHold.com, an online site focused on parenting and baby names. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. SheKnows said that the acquisition is part of a strategy to provide advice through all stages of parenting. BabyHold provides parenting advice, and search tools for researching and finding baby names. The move is the latest in a string of buys in the pregnancy area for SheKnows; the firm has also acquired ChefMom, PregnancyFashion.com, CelebrityPregnancy.com, and PregnancyAndBaby.com in recent months. SheKnows is a part of AtomicOnline.
