Skyryse Names Chief Legal Officer

Los Angeles-based automated flight software developer Skyryse, which is backed by more than $260 in funding from such investors as Fidelity Management & Research Company, Monashee Investment Management, ArrowMark Partners, Venrock, Eclipse Ventures, Cantos, Stanford University, and Bill Ford, Executive Chair, Ford Motor Company, has named a legal head. The company said this morning that it has named Blake Bilstad as its Chief Legal Officer. Bilstad was most recently Chief Legal Officer at Beachbody, and also served at dosist, WWE, Provide Commerce, and MP3.com, as well as Vivendi Universal after it acquired MP3.com. Skyryse is developing an automated flight control system called FlightOS, which it says manages many complexities of managing an aircraft during standard flight operations, inclement weather, and emergencies.
