Skyworks Launches New 5G Components

Irvine-based semiconductor developer Skyworks Solutions said this morning that it is expanding its lineup of products for the 5G wireless market. According to Skyworks, it has just added a new family of high efficiency amplifiers, switch LNAs, compact circulators and isolators, plus products for the sub-6 GHz and millimeter wave frequencies, all aimed at use in 5G base stations. The company said those devices are designed for use in macro base stations and other applications.
