SpaceX Delivers SES-12 Satellite Into Orbit

Hawthorne-based SpaceX successfully delivered another satellite payload into space early Monday evening, launching the SES-12 satellite into Geostationary Transfer Orbit (GTO) at 12:45 a.m. EDT from Cape Canaveral Air Force Station. According to SpaceX, the SES-12 satellite was deployed about 32 minutes after liftoff. The launch used a "previously flown" Falcon 9 first stage. SpaceX did not attempt to recover the first stage again on this launch.
