SPIDR Tech Lands $2.5M For Law Enforcement Software

Manhattan Beach-based SPIDR Tech, which is developing software for law enforcement which provides customer relationship management (CRM)-type features for police departments, has raised $2.5M in a funding round. The funding came from Sidewalk Labs, Birchmere Ventures, Stage Ventures, Kairos Association, Heartland Ventures, and No Name Ventures. SPIDR Tech's software provides one-to-one communications with victims of crimes. The company was founded by Rahul Sidhu (CEO) and Kenaniah Cerny (CTO). The company's COO is Elon Kaiserman, and its Chief Revenue Officer is Mandy Duffy. According to SPIDR Tech its platform helps law enforcement agencies by providing victim notifications on activity on their crime reports, handling non-emergency requests, and providing feedback to citizens who might have reported witnessing a crime or other activity, via text message.
