Spireon Links Fleet Data With Data Warehouse Firm Snowflake

Irvine-based Spireon, a provider of fleet telematics and vehicle tracking and data, has linked with data warehousing provider Snowflake, the two said this morning. The two said the big data and data sharing partnership will allow clients of Spireon's FleetLocate fleet and asset intelligence product with access to big data reporting. Financial details of the deal were not announced. According to the two, enterprise clients of the two have been looking to create custom queries and other reporting for their operations; the new data sharing deal allows those clients to use Snowflake to query and access information on assets and years of historical data.
