Spireon Names TrueCar Vet As Automotive VP

Irvine-based Spireon, which develops vehicle telematics hardware and products, announced this morning that it has named Brian Skutta as President of Automotive. According to Spireon, Skutta will head up a newly combined vehicle finance, Buy Here Pay Here, lender, and franchise dealer product offerings. Skutta previously was Executive Vice President of Dealer Sales and Service at TrueCar, and also has served at AutoAlert, VinSolutions and AutoTrader.com. Spireon is a developer of fleet tracking and other automotive and vehicle GPS tracking products.
