Stamps.com Names ShippingEasy CEO To Board

El Segundo-based online postage and shipping software developer Stamps.com says it has named Katie May, the CEO of e-commerce software company ShippingEasy.com, to its board of directors. ShippingEasy was acquired by Stamps.com in 2016. According to Stamps.com, May has more than 20 years of experience building multiple successful startups. She currently serves as CEO of ShippingEasy.com, which Stamps said grew to a $30M business within 5 years before it was acquired by the company; she has been CEO of ShippingEasy since 2012. Before ShippingEasy, May was the founder of Kidspot.com.au (sold to News Corp) and she was also involved at job site SEEK.com.au. Before her startup career, May served at Arthur Anderson, Philip Morris and Booz & Company. Stamps.com provides online postage and shipping software, which is used by companies such as small businesses, shippers, and others a way to print out digital postage.
