StartAJob Launches Online Job Search Portal, Aims At Home Projects

Los Angeles-based StartAJob says it has launched a new, online job search portal, which helps connect people with part-time, freelance, and full-time positions, and also allows clients to hire local contractors, painters, electricians, and home renovators. The startup is led by CEO Max Chester, and says its site revolves around letting clients post photographs and videos of their projects, and receiving bids from contractors. The company also said it handles secure escrow so that funds are only released after a job is complete.
