SUMA Wealth Acquires Reel

Los Angeles-based fintech products developer SUMA Wealth announced this morning that it has acquired Reel, the developer of a savings and personal finance platform. Financial details of the acquisition were not announced. Reel Co-founder and CEO Daniela Corrente becomes Chief Strategy and Business Officer at the company. Both companies had been focused on financial products aimed at young U.S. Latinos. SUMA Wealth was founded by CEO Beatriz Acevedo and COO Mary Hernandez.
