Superjoi Takes $2.5M For Crowdfunding Creators

West Hollywood-based Superjoi, a new startup which operates a service to help creators raise money from their fans for projects, disclosed today that it has raised $2.5M in a pre-seed funding round. The funding included Ascension Ventures, QED Investors, Systema VC, Tomahawk and Modern Venture Partners. The startup is led by co-founder and CEO Chris Knight.
