UAV Factory, Jennings Aeronautics Becomes Edge Autonomy

San Luis Obispo-based unmanned aerial vehicle developer UAV Factory, which recently merged with Jennings Aeronautics (JAI), says it has renamed the newly merged company as Edge Autonomy. Edge Autonomy is backed by private equity investor AE Industrial Partners, and is led by CEO John Purvis. UAV Factory and Jennings Aeronautics were both small unmanned aerial vehicle platforms and camera payload manufacturers.
