Viasat Taps NASA's Bridenstine For Board

Carlsbad-based satellite communications provider Viasat said this morning that it has named former National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) Chief James "Jim" Bridenstine to the company's board of directors. According to Viasat, it now has eight members of its board. Viasat said Bridenstine will bring extensive experience in space technology, innovation and safety based on his leadership role at NASA, as well as defense and aerospace expertise based on his public service in the United States Navy and Congress. Viasat is a provider of satellite communications services, as well as technology and equipment.
