VIEVU Acquired By Axon Enterprises

Ontario, California-based Safariland, the parent company of body-worn camera maker VIEVU, said this morning that it has sold VIEVU to Axon Enterprises. Financial details of the sale were not announced. VIEVU's cameras are used by law enforcement and others in the public safety market. As part of the sale, the two said they are in a 10-year agreement where Safariland will become the preferred holster provider for Axon's TASER weapons. Safariland acquired VIEVU in 2015.
