Virgin Orbit Wins Deal With Poland

Long Beach-based space company Virgin Orbit said today that it has signed a letter of intent with the country of Poland, to help Poland advanced its domestic space capabilities. Financial details of the deal were not announced. According to Virgin Orbit and the Polish Space Agency (POLSA), Poland has "conveyed its strong interest" in bringing a domestic launch capability to Poland through Virgin Orbit's LauncherOne system. Poland's Minister of Economic Development and Technology, Piotr Nowak, and POLSA President Prof. Grzegorz Wrochna visited Virgin Orbit's factory in Long Beach on Wednesday.
