Vivera Pharmaceuticals Names Legal Head

Newport Beach-based Vivera Pharmaceuticals said this week that it has named Sahar S. Pugh as the company's General Counsel and Vice President of Legal Affairs. The pharmaceuticals company said that Pugh previously was at Milstein, Jackson, Fairchild & Wade, LLP, and that she has nearly two decades of experience in practicing law. Vivera says it holds patents for a sublingual drug delivery system for pharmaceutical use, as well as patents on a smart dose-controlled medical device.
