Wavemaker Genesis Aims At Blockchain, Crypto Investments With New Fund

Pacific Palisades-based Wavemaker Genesis, a new, venture capital investment fund aimed at Blockchain and cryptocurrency investments, has quietly been making the round of limited partners, according to a regulatory filing by the fund. The new fund--led by Wavemaker Partners co-founder David Seimer and Scott Walker, the founder and CEO of Atrinsic and Bitcoin mining guru. Recent regulatory filings by the firm do not specify a target size for the firm's first investment fund, however, the firm's website says Wavemaker Genesis is aimed at bringing an early-stage venture strategy to the cryptocurrency and blockchain market. Alon Goren, founder of the Crypto Invest Summit, is a Principal at the firm, with Jennifer Anderson serving as COO and Lee Borsai as Partner in Wavemaker Genesis Labs.
