Wavemaker Partners Names New EIR

Los Angeles-based Wavemaker Partners said this morning that it has named Trent Johnson, the former Practice Director of consulting firm Slalom, as its new Executive In Residence (EIR). The venture firm--which has operations both in Los Angeles and Singapore--said Johnson will support operational advisory for its portfolio companies both in the US and Southeast ASia. Johnson had been the LA Practice DIrector of Stragey & Operations at Slalom, and also had served at other consulting firms, such as Avasant, ISG, and KPMG Consulting. Wavemaker is led by founder and Managing Partner Eric Manlunas.
