ZYNC Music Acquired By Round Hill Music

Los Angeles-based Zync Music, a music licensing startup focused on placement of music in film, advertising, movie trailers, games, and elsewhere, has become part of Round Hill Music, the two said Thursday. Financial details of the deal were not announced. The two said they have launched a joint venture, focused on offering up funds for developing and signing new publishing deals with "hot emerging artists", and that Zync's teams in New York, Los Angeles, and Nashville will be combined with Round Hill.
