Astrolab Gets $160M In Contracts

Hawthorne-based SpaceX claims that it has lined up contracts worth $160M for its robotic space equipment. According to the company, it has signed up eight enterprise customers to use its space rover--under development--to deploy payloads on the Moon. The company says it hopes to launch its mission as soon as mid-2026. The space startup--which has not yet launched anything into space--is led by CEO and Founder Jaret Matthews.
