Astrolab Plans To Land Rover On The Moon

Hawthorn-based Venturi Astrolab announced on Friday that it plans to land its very own lunar rover to the moon, using a SpaceX Starship. According to Astrolab, it is developing a moon rover--called the Astrolab Flexible Logistics and Exploration (FLEX) rover--which it plans to land on the moon as soon as mid-2026. The company did not say how much it is paying SpaceX for the transport service, which appears to be the first booked, commercial mission for the yet-to-launch Starship. Astrolab says it is developing its rover to transport and deploy payloads to the Moon, and eventually, Mars. The company is led by Founder and CEO Jaret Matthews.
