Comergence, BasePoint Partner On Compliance Monitoring

Orange-based Comergence and Carlsbad-based BasePoint Analytics, provider of tools for risk management in the finance industry, said this morning that the two are partnering. According to the firms, Comergence is partnering with Basepoint to add fraud and early pay default risk management into its products. According to the firms, the deal includes BasePoint's solution for providing a risk assessment of loans and specific brokers. BasePoint's software is used to detect suspicious and fraudulent real estate loans. Comergence develops compliance monitoring software for the real estate industry. Financial terms of the partnership were not disclosed.
