Connexion To Deploy Internet To China Airlines

Irvine-based Connexion by Boeing business unit and China Airlines announced yesterday that the two companies have agreed to bring high speed Internet access to China Airlines' North American flights. The companies have agreed to install Connexion by Boeing's high speed, real time Internet system on CAL's long haul 747-400 aircraft beginning in Q2 of 2005. The Internet service will be available on New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Anchorage, and Vancouver-bound flights from Taipei. China Airlines is the sixth carrier that Connexion by Boeing has signed. Terms were not disclosed.
