Emulex Certifies With Infortrend

Costa Mesa-based networking hardware provider Emulex has certified its latest set of Fibre Channel Host Bus Adapters with storage equipment from Infortrend, the companies announced today. The two said that the Emulex LightPulse 16G Fibre Channel HBAs were certified with Infortrend's 16GFC EonStor DS G7i RAID storage systems. Both products are used in data center storage area networks (SANs). 16G Fibre Channel is the latest standard for speed in Fibre Channel networks, which are used heavily in the data center market for back-end storage connections.
