Frequency Signs Deal With Chinese TV Manufacturer

Frequency, the developer of mobile, web, smart TV, and other apps which let users find and view online video content, has inked a deal with a Chinese TV manufacturer, the company announced today at CES. Frequency--which is led by Blair Harrison--said it has partnered with TCL, the 4th largest LCD TV producer worldwide, and China's top television manufacturer, to pre-install its app on all future TCL TV models. Financial terms of the deal were not announced. Frequency's app create a seamless viewing environment for users for online video, letting them discover, view, share, and interact with video across all of their devices and the web. Harrison is a serial entrepreneur, and co-founded IFILM, later selling it to Viacom in 2006.
