ViaSat Expands Into Government Cybersecurity

Carlsbad-based satellite and wireless broadband technology developer ViaSat said today that it is expanding its business, and has added new cybersecurity services and products aimed at the government. According to ViaSat, it will provide government agencies and military forces with new cybersecurity service and product enhancements, with the aim of protecting and sharing classified data. The new services included vulnerability assessment and remediation; managed security services; government-grade network encryption products; new malicious activity detection; and more.
