Sherman Oaks-based mobile entertainment provider GoTV Networks said Thursday that it has partnered with Gibson Guitar, to feature musical artists and performances on a branded series called Gibson Green Room. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. GoTV said that it would produce the series, and distribute it across top tier mobile carriers. According to GoTV, artists who will be included in the weekly series are Cartel, Dropkick Murphys, The Thrills, and Ferraby Lionhear. GoTV Networks is a venture backed startup which is funded by Bessemer Venture Partners, Charles River Ventures and Motorola; the firm develops content specifically for mobile television and cell phones, which it sells via monthly subscriptions through wireless carriers including Alltel, AT&T, Sprint Nextel, Boost Mobile, and Verizon Wireless.
